ICAN-B Academy respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request the deletion of your data from our platform, including data collected when you sign in using Facebook Login.

This policy fulfills the requirements of Meta’s Platform Policy for applications that use Facebook Login.

What Data We Store

When you use Facebook Login to register or sign in to ICAN-B Academy, we receive and store:

• Your name and email address from your Facebook account.
• Your profile information as entered on our platform (role, date of birth, etc.).
• Course purchase history and learning progress.
• Session and authentication tokens (not retained after logout).

We do not store your Facebook password or financial information.

How to Request Data Deletion

To request the deletion of your ICAN-B Academy account and all associated personal data, send an email to inquiry@ican-b.com with the subject line: “Data Deletion Request”

Please include the following in your message:

• Full name associated with your account.
• Email address used to register.
• A brief statement confirming you are requesting full account and data deletion.

Our team will review your request and respond within 2 business days to confirm receipt and guide you through the process.

What We Delete

Upon a verified deletion request, we will remove:

• Your user account and profile information.
• Learning progress and activity history.
• Authentication tokens and session data.
• Any communications stored in our system.

What We May Retain

We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including:

• Financial transaction records required for tax and accounting compliance (typically 7 years under US law).
• Fraud prevention data as permitted by applicable regulations.
• Anonymized, non-identifiable analytics data that cannot be traced back to you.

Processing Timeline

We will process your deletion request within 30 days of identity verification. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

If your request involves data subject to legal retention requirements, we will notify you of any data that cannot be immediately deleted and the reason for retention.
