Behavior Functions and Simple Functional Data Collection (Applied and Ethical) (PDU)

In this training module, "Behavior Functions and Simple Functional Data Collection (Applied and Ethical)," participants will develop a foundational understanding of identifying the functions of behavior and applying basic functional data collection procedures within the framework of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This content is designed for Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other professionals involved in implementing behavior intervention programs, with an emphasis on applied, ethical, and evidence-based practices. Throughout the training, participants will explore key concepts related to the objective observation of behavior, the identification of variables that may influence its occurrence, and the use of simple, effective methods for collecting meaningful functional data.
